Since we were little girls, we have had thoughts and dreams of what our married life would be like. All of these were heightened when we found the man of our dreams and began to plan a life together.

But now the excitement of the wedding and moving in together has passed and things are not quite what you expected them to be. We all have an idea in our mind of what a perfect relationship looks like. However, I would imagine that most of our ideas might be a bit one-sided in how our relationship is going to meet our own wants and desires.

In scripture, we are given the example of a perfect relationship in the Trinity. One that is characterized by unity, love, willful submission, and trust.
