What happens when you stop running from yourself and finally face the parts of your life you have been avoiding?
In Episode 2 of The Goddess Movement: From Breakdown to Badass, I sit down with my first guest, the beautiful Nicole Cambridge, Mum of two, home renovator and Real estate professional, with a powerful lived experience story of recovery and rebuilding. Nicole and I have a deeply honest conversation about identity, motherhood, relationships, self worth, substance use, mental health, validation, accountability, boundaries, spirituality and healing.
Nicole brings such a grounded, calming and powerful energy to this conversation as we talk about what happens when life forces you to look at yourself properly.
We explore the pressure of motherhood and family life, losing yourself in relationships, learning to enjoy your own company, recognising your worth and understanding that sometimes taking your power back begins with becoming comfortable with the person you see in the mirror.
We also talk about trauma, addiction, mental health, unhealthy relationships, meditation, boundaries, accountability and the sometimes messy reality of rebuilding yourself.
This is not a conversation about pretending healing is beautiful or linear.
It is about owning your story.
Taking responsibility for what is yours.
Letting go of what is not.
Learning to protect your peace.
And finding your way back to yourself.
Because healing isn’t linear.
Growth isn’t pretty.
And sometimes becoming the woman you were always meant to be requires facing the parts of yourself you would rather avoid.
Welcome home, Goddess.
You are not the victim of your story.
You are the warrior rising from it.
