Nothing needs to be done in our own strength, God’s will is greater than our own understanding and plans for our lives. God is so good, gracious and loving that He allowed us to have free will. We’re given the choice to choose to follow Him and allow Him to transform us. Relationships require trust and communication, growing closer to God includes these foundations in order for us to grow in obedience, surrender and discernment.

In this episode, we open up more about a part of our story we haven’t fully shared: our journey out of New Age spirituality and into a authentic relationship with Jesus Christ.

For years, we chased peace, purpose, and alignment through manifestation, oracle decks, and the law of attraction. Today, we share what drew us to that world, what made us question it, and the humbling process of surrendering it all for the ultimate truth found in Christ.

We also get real about the reality of walking with Jesus. It isn't always the easy path. We discuss the grief/diffculty of leaving old identities behind, the myth that faith makes life effortless, and how we choose worship and prayer even in seasons when it doesn't come naturally.

6 163 Jerika's Testimony

Jerika’s testimony highlights the very real reality behind what can appear on the surface as living a light magical fairytale life. We’re reminded in the cautionary tale of her story that not everything is as it seems. Deception is all around us and yet no matter how far gone we are, God will meet us where we are. We just simply have to call out to Him and welcome Him in.

From experiencing the presence of the Holy Spirit in her youth, to visiting a witch in a cottage in the woods, to being delivered from entities, to practicing new age spirituality, to at last coming home to Jesus, Jerika’s testimony highlights the true supernatural power of God.

God uses our past and our story to show that ultimately salvation, healing, and freedom can only be found and sustained in Him. It is not in our own strengthen that we are saved, protected, guided and at peace in this world, it is through the power of Jesus.
