As one of the first 17 selected European University Networks, we are driven by the big issues when it comes to leading universities on the path to European unity. Which resources do we need for the manifold transformation processes? How does the daily work of our experts involved in the project look like? How does a university alliance relate to Open Science and what is our impact on the regional socioeconomic environment?     The 11th episode of the Fit for Europe Podcast is devoted to a Citizen Science project held by Multilingualism in School and Higher Education Lab. The host, Jędrzej Olejniczak (UO), asks Marjut Hiltunen and Outi Jokinen, teachers from Mankola School in Jyvaskyla, about their experiences co-creating with JYU researchers and students. In the interview they talk about benefits of this innovative approach to science literacy in schools. The interview was recorded during the bootcamp on Modeling Citizen Science for Education, which took place at University of Opole in March 2023, and was funded through FIT FORTHEM.
