This week on Extra Slice, Nick continues our journey through Acts, digging deeper into Acts 10 and the extraordinary story of Peter and Cornelius.
What happens when God asks us to cross boundaries that feel deeply ingrained? Nick explores Peter’s vision, the cultural barriers between Jews and Gentiles, and the moment Peter begins to grasp just how wide the good news of Jesus really is.
We also think about those who might believe, pray or have a sense of God but remain on the edges of church life; what it means to shape our everyday lives around our Christian identity; and why Peter’s declaration that “God shows no partiality” is such a significant moment.
And ultimately, it comes back to the heart of the gospel: Jesus is Lord.
If Jesus really is Lord of all, what does that mean for the way we spend our time, our money and our energy — and the way we live the life God has given us?
Grab yourself an Extra Slice and join us.
