Star holds a B.S. in physics from UC Berkeley, a Master's in space policy, and did graduate work in climate physics at the University of Michigan. Her practice runs equally deep: decades of immersion in Buddhism, NonDual Kashmir Shaivism, Lakota Ceremony, Toltec Shamanism, and Source Embodiment shape everything she teaches.

Through Cosmic Citizen Trainings, her Benefit Company, Star designs multi-year programs and works with individuals directly, serving space, science, and wellness professionals navigating the responsibilities of expansive knowledge. That work extends into the corporate world designing the most immersive personal growth experiences offered to Lululemon employees.

She has presented at major space conferences and at the United Nations on Climate Change and Lunar Exploration, and has advised the SETI Institute since 2019, supporting the human dimension of our search for place in the Universe.
