Although it was almost a deal that happened in Toronto, the details of the contract are historic. As someone with almost a quarter century negotiating high value contracts, the stories behind the scenes of legendary negotiations is MY sport. Whether its business, sports, music etc.....I love learning the stories and lessons behind how these deals get done. This one is a classic case of finding the hungry audience and making sure they saw the value of this player to the organization. This is purely my opinion on how things happened. Sad news this week as East York area brewery, Muddy York Brewery, announces their move to York Region. Having bought a lot of beer here over the years for myself and clients, they will be missed.
