Although the wire fraud was in relation to half a billion dollars, whistleblowers & journalists who exposed Elizabeth Holmes were always more concerned about the millions of patients who’s health & lives Elizabeth Holmes was gambling with so she could continue to enrich herself. Elizabeth Holmes didn’t care who she hurt, just wanted to keep the hundreds of millions of other peoples money flowing into Theranos to fund her lavish lifestyle of mansions, private jets & the best of everything. Theranos was a silicon valley start up that was supposed to revolutionise blood testing & was once valued at nine billion dollars. The unicorn level valuation was based off countless lies, including that the company was earning in the hundreds of millions when it struggled to clear $100k. But the lies about income was nothing compared to the lies about Theranos’s technology. I’ve followed Elizabeth Holmes & Theranos from the time I was working in a blood lab nearly 20 years ago, & today I’m going to tell you exactly what I think Elizabeth Holmes is going to try and spin in this latest endeavour. We’ll also go over things from Elizabeth Holmes & Theranos past, that even those who’ve followed this case extremely closely, will find surprising. We’ll also discuss what happened to Elizabeth Holmes after she was exposed, & why her partner Billy Evans might come off even worse than her in next months doc. Elizabeth Holmes & Billy Evans are working on her healthcare comeback, they launched a new blood testing company, they are non stop posting on social media to their supporters, & People magazine even put Elizabeth Holmes on the cover with a multi page spread of glossy photos with her kids & Billy Evans, accompanied by a very sympathetic article, all while she’s in prison for the wildest & most dangerous fraud case of all time.
