Marks former station now has 1 employee, when he retired it had 4 which was sad enough. Back when they started one station would have at least 15. Mark's intern from the 90s is now an OM for 3 different radio markets and lives hours away from most of them.. Local is what it should be but only the non corporatate owners get it. DJs were never a number on a budget spread sheet they were numbers on a ratings report card that made you money or asked you to leave... sorry for the editorial... We also talk space, the moon, coffee, soul food, nude dining, and a quiz about the state your state hates.

On the phone call to two no longer employed radio personalities (retired by choice) discussed saving radio..Is it possible to bring it back to the way it was? More radio talk as Mark said he was actually fired from a live read spot and Erica took a eye glasses place live spot when she had perfect vision and wore fake glasses when Mark has been wearing glasses since he was 5. On todays Mandatory Phone Call of Friendship we remember Jane a fury member of Ericas family.

Marks asks why a Pride Flag wallpaper is consider an upgrade on his cellphone.. Mark read an article about the latest update and was quick to notice certain brand loyalist are quick to remind people in charge that wallpaper is not an upgrade on their phone. Mark didn't get it and found Erica didn't get it either or would need it. They also talked radio rembering audio testing, top 225 records that were always the same wondering who are these people who get to pick these records. As usual there are only 2 degrees in any direction for people who are in the biz to know each other as Erica knew smeone whos brother was responsible for a lot of this mess.
