Welcome to the 'I've Run Out Of Gluesticks Podcast' (running out of glue sticks is just one of the most stressful things a teacher can experience...) I'm a full-time primary class teacher in the UK who had consistently good lesson feedback in a seven year career and comes across as a really happy chappy. So why am I leaving the classroom in 8 days with panic attacks, no job to go to and A BABY ON THE WAY!!!!??????!?!?!?! This podcast aims to share what has led me to this decision, what I'm planning on doing next and what I actually do. If you're a teacher experiencing burnout, stress or anxiety... so am I. Listen in and see if you relate. I found very little support out there when I started this leaving process, but it is out there.
