Hello, here is the link to Episode 98: https://open.spotify.com/episode/58tKr7mAjgI9SAPKPrCFxG?si=d8540351b63d4e5c Ever feel like you were fast running out of options but were not sure? The feeling of limbo that the destruction of the house plus a good but unknown part of Joey’s shop is giving the Stivics that uncomfortable feeling but as the title suggests, it doesn’t look good this time. Thanks,Marc Amanda, who has taken on volunteer work at the station where Samantha is staying, accompanied by Kamala, ends up hanging mostly with Samantha and Kamala, in which Samantha tells her her own story. Joey gets the police report on his shop. It is not good. Although it is savable, it would, as Joey has already said, cost a lot of money and could deplete the Stivics of almost everything. Joey says he’s gonna have to see it firsthand and then goes into a deep withdrawal because the shop had become his identity. When Giselle asks him pointedly what the plan is, he says most likely they won’t be able to stay in Santa Ana and he would prefer to leave California altogether. As they ponder that neighboring states for hundreds of miles are prone to wildfires, the idea of asking Giselle’s mom becomes more set in. FADE IN INT. THE FIRE VICTIMS RELIEF STATION – DAY While Samantha and Kamala are hanging out, Amanda is working as a volunteer options officer. SAMANTHAIt’s amazing how she always finds some kind of work to do. POLICE OFFICER (v.o.)(filtered, car radio)I wish I could be clearer but if it helps, number one, the area around it did get hit so it will be a whilebefore we can reopen it safely tothe public.
