We’re recapping our September book club read, Kiss of the Basilisk, and WOW… this book gave us a LOT to talk about. We’re diving into the spice, the fantasy, the love triangle, power dynamics, questionable choices, social commentary, the ending that left us questioning EVERYTHING, and whether we’ll be picking up the next book.

But before we get into the bookish chaos, it’s time for some serious mom-life stories. From flooded bathrooms and feral children to school drama, random noises, questionable parenting decisions, and the things our kids do that have us wondering how we’re still functioning… motherhood is exhausting and apparently our children are feral.
