Today I’m really excited to welcome back someone who’s been on the show before—Jamie Englehart.

Because let’s be honest—we can all carry ideas about God and the Bible that we've heard so many times that we assume they must be true. Sometimes those ideas come from tradition, sometimes from the way Scripture has been translated, and sometimes from interpretations that simply don't hold up when we take a closer look at the text and, most importantly, look at it through the revelation of Jesus.

So today, we're going to unpack some of those commonly held beliefs and ask some important questions: What have we misunderstood? What has been mistranslated? And how does seeing these things differently change the way we understand God, Scripture, and our relationship with Him?
