• August 19, 2004 - Google goes public (IPO): Shares began trading priced at $85. Raising significant capital and marked Google's transition into a major public company. A 1K$ investment in the 2004 IPO would be roughly worth 170K$ today. With a 6K$ investment you would have exceeded a million dollars.
