Palantir, a company co-founded by PayPal CEO Peter Thiel, has a contract from the Trump Administration to build a citizenship database. This may not be surprising to you, but Palantir also provides AI services to the Defense Department to support ground warfare strategy and mission targeting. The first question we should all be asking is, “Why?” Is the government preparing to establish a Social Credit infrastructure similar to the one used in China?
