There are very few worship leaders who have stayed gainfully employed as a church worship leader for as many years as John. Deven first meet John as a child growing up as a kid around Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa in the early 1970's. John was a founding member in iconic Christian bands like The Way, Parable, The Benny Hester Band. John and his wife Lisa have served as "on staff" worship leaders for well known Calvary Chapel pastors/churches like Mike MacIntosh (Horizon Christian Fellowships ), Chuck Smith I (Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa) and for the past 28 years as worship leader for Ray Bentley ( Maranatha Chapel.) You also may know of his uber talented kids Phil & Evan Wickham.
