Justice and Government Control | The Kevin Stone PodcastCan you support the death penalty while still believing the government has too much power? That's the question we're tackling on this episode of The Kevin Stone Podcast. We're looking at the Army's planned execution of convicted Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan, the history of military executions, and why a firing squad is being considered instead of lethal injection. We'll also revisit the reported botched execution of Christa Pike in Tennessee and ask a question that deserves serious consideration: Just how much power should we trust the government with when someone's life is on the line?I support the death penalty, but I also believe in constitutional protections, accountability, and limits on government authority. Those principles shouldn't disappear just because someone has committed a terrible crime. And to lighten things up, we're closing the show with another ridiculous Top 10 countdown:Top 10 Things an Executioner Should NEVER Say in the Execution Chamber!Serious subjects, everyday common sense, and a little clean sarcasm. No Harvard degree required!Research and Sources:U.S. Army — Official News
