Scott Fawcett, creator of DECADE Golf, joins Joe and Jehu McNeil for Episode 37 of The Joe McNeil Podcast, and he doesn't hold back.

Scott takes us inside the strategy that helped players like Bryson DeChambeau and Will Zalatoris, explains why so many golfers misunderstand course management, and breaks down why better decisions can matter just as much as better swings.

We also revisit our viral question: Would you rather hit it 330 yards into the rough or 200 yards and hit every fairway? Scott's answer is about as direct as you'd expect.

We get into:

• How Scott developed the DECADE system
• Working with Bryson DeChambeau and Will Zalatoris
• Why Scott was banned from giving college golf seminars
• Why golfers make bad strategic decisions
• The 330 yards vs. 200 yards debate
• Why laying back doesn't automatically keep you out of trouble
• How much speed is actually useful in golf
• Whether former professionals should return to elite amateur golf
• LIV Golf and why Scott believes its model was never going to work
• TGL and the future of simulator golf
• Scott's battles on social media
• The mental side of competitive golf

Near the end of the episode, the conversation takes an unexpected turn as Scott opens up about some incredibly difficult experiences in his personal life and how they changed his perspective on golf, social media, and life.
