Larrimah is the kind of place where everybody knows everybody — mainly because there are only about 10 people to know. But when 70-year-old Paddy Moriarty and his dog Kellie suddenly vanish without a trace, this tiny outback town becomes the centre of one of Australia’s strangest murder mysteries.

With no body, no obvious crime scene and almost every resident seemingly having a problem with someone else, police are left trying to work out what happened to Paddy — and whether one of his neighbours knows a lot more than they're letting on.

There are feuds over pies, pub rivalries, missing dogs, grudges that have been simmering for years and enough bizarre characters to make Larrimah feel less like a town and more like the world’s smallest reality show.
