🎙️ Manga With Josh — Episode 26Mr. Kim Strikes It Rich With Auto-Hunting— Auto-Hunting, Overpowered Workers, and the Hunter Who Became the BossHunter manhwa usually give their protagonists overwhelming strength, broken skills, or some kind of system that eventually lets them bulldoze their way through every dungeon standing in front of them. Mr. Kim Strikes It Rich With Auto-Hunting takes a different route. Yoon Hajun is a 23-year-old construction day laborer who awakens as a Hunter, but instead of becoming some unstoppable warrior, his new job is Labor Management Office Head. His ability lets him summon workers and send them into dungeons or Towers in his place. They fight, gather rewards, bring back magic crystals, and even expect wages and bonuses for the work they do. Hajun essentially becomes the boss of a supernatural workforce, and the comedy comes from watching him manage increasingly powerful employees while still trying to figure out how to make money, stay anonymous, and survive in the Hunter world without personally doing most of the hunting. This is also one of the newest series I've ever talked about on the show. The webtoon launched on September 14, 2026, and had only 21 chapters available when I recorded this episode. It is based on a completed web novel with 200 chapters across eight volumes, so while the manhwa itself is brand new, there is already a complete story behind it.🏗️ What We Talk AboutWhy the main character is called “Mr. Kim” even though his real name is Yoon HajunHajun's life as a 23-year-old construction day laborerHow the Hunter and dungeon system worksHajun's strange Labor Management Office Head classHis ability to summon workers and enable auto-huntingOrc workers showing up in hard hats with shovels, pickaxes, hammers, and construction gearWhy Hajun's workers have to be paid wages and bonusesHow the series mixes Hunter fantasy with business and employee managementHajun trying to sell magic crystals even though he isn't initially a registered HunterThe monthly boss raid that puts him on the radar of major guildsWhy he has to register as a Hunter while keeping his identity hiddenThe fact that Hajun isn't necessarily the overpowered character—his workers areSummoned characters who can clear content faster than some of the strongest Hunters in the worldCrafting, blacksmithing, and equipment salesWhy the series spends less time on traditional dungeon diving than you might expectThe comedy and management side of the storyWhy this could work both for longtime Hunter-manhwa readers and people new to the genre⚒️ Why This Manhwa Stood OutThe biggest thing that separated Mr. Kim Strikes It Rich With Auto-Hunting for me is that the overpowered fantasy doesn't really come from Hajun personally destroying everything. His strength is delegation. He gets stronger by building a better workforce, adding more capable workers, sending them into increasingly difficult content, and figuring out how to turn everything they bring back into an actual operation.I also really like how seriously the series commits to the labor-management joke. These aren't just summons that disappear after a battle. They are workers. They have wages. Hajun can give them bonuses. If he doesn't treat them properly, he can end up with unhappy employees. Even the earliest orcs show up dressed like construction workers, which fits perfectly with the fact that Hajun awakens while working as a day laborer. The crafting side also immediately grabbed me. Once the story starts introducing workers who can make equipment, the progression opens up beyond simply clearing another dungeon or climbing another floor of a Tower. Hajun can gather resources, produce equipment, sell what his workers create, and slowly turn this strange ability into something closer to a business. That mixture of Hunter systems, management, crafting, and comedy gives the series its own identity.🎧 Final ThoughtsIf you already read Hunter manhwa, a lot of the worldbuilding here is going to feel familiar. You have ranked dungeons, guilds, Towers, boss raids, magical crystals, awakened Hunters, and characters who can eventually become absurdly powerful. What makes this one fun is the way it rearranges those familiar pieces around a protagonist who would rather send somebody else into the dungeon than risk his own life. This also isn't a series where you're going to spend every chapter watching Hajun personally fight through a dungeon. A lot of the entertainment comes from his workers, the ridiculous things they can accomplish, Hajun trying to manage the consequences, and the increasingly complicated business surrounding all of it. If you're looking purely for constant one-on-one combat, that may be something to keep in mind. For me, though, that difference is exactly why it's worth checking out. The webtoon had only been out for about ten days when I recorded this episode, so we're catching this one almost from the beginning. With a ...
