Rick shares how losing a pharmacy business after 10 years in a “perfect storm” in 2006 led him to press into scripture, rebuild his identity as a child of God, and prioritize being a husband and father over his work identity. Rick discusses the mission of “God’s economy” as living by God’s currency (peace, joy, and other fruits of the Spirit) and building a community rooted in personal testimony. He also shares why he started a rapidly growing Bible study at Longevity Labs, emphasizing that people find what they seek, that worldly success can still leave people empty, and that results belong to God while individuals are responsible for obedience.
