WNBA Awards, Semifinals Sweeps, Dream–Valkyries Finals Preview, and Fever Fanbase Fallout

Sylvia and Madeline of the Double Drivel mother-daughter WNBA podcast cover league awards, semifinal recaps, a finals preview with fact-or-fiction, and Indiana Fever fallout. They note A’ja Wilson won her fifth MVP and third straight, outline voting and stats, and discuss Cheryl Reeve as Executive and Coach of the Year, Nneka Ogwumike winning sportsmanship, and the All-Rookie team. They recap semifinal sweeps: the No. 2 Valkyries beat the Aces 3–0 behind depth, defense, rebounding, and turnovers, while the No. 4 Dream swept the Liberty 3–0 despite Alicia Gray’s injury, led by Jordan Canada, Angel Reese, and Dewanna Bonner, and critique Liberty coach Chris DeMarco. They preview the best-of-seven Dream–Valkyries finals schedule and matchup, then discuss Fever GM Amber Cox’s comments about fan behavior, player responses including Kelsey Mitchell, Brianna Turner, Sydney Colson, and Caitlin Clark, and related concerns for free agency.
