In this episode, I talk about the difference between healing and avoiding—the quiet ways we either face our pain or hide from it. Through stories, Scripture, and reflection, I invite you to name your longings, reframe failure, and let Jesus meet you in the parts of you that are still afraid.
If you're a woman in your 20s (or love someone who is), I'd love to introduce you to the Becoming guidebook: www.elisabethklein.com/becoming
And if you're looking for a practical, Scripture-centered resource to help you grow in wholeheartedness and live more intentionally with Jesus, I'd love to introduce you to the Live Differently guidebook: www.elisabethklein.com/live-differently
🌿 Reflection & Journaling Questions
Longing:
What longing or ache have you been carrying that you tend to push away or downplay?
Can you name it honestly, without trying to fix or explain it?
Unraveling:
Where in your life are you trying to pinpoint the “exact moment” something went wrong?
What might happen if you simply sat with it instead of trying to make sense of it?
Failure:
What’s one thing you’ve been afraid to try because of fear of failing?
How might God want to use that “failure” to shape you—even if it looks messy or disappointing?
Anxiety:
What part of you feels scared or anxious today?
What might happen if you invited Jesus into that part of your story?
