Reid Davenport is an award-winning documentary filmmaker joining us today to discuss his film Life After. His work focuses on disability rights, accessibility, and social justice, using documentary storytelling to highlight lived experiences and challenge common assumptions.
He has directed and produced several acclaimed, award-winning documentaries throughout his career. His films are recognized for their thoughtful, personal approach and their ability to bring underrepresented perspectives to wider audiences.
Reid was named to DOC NYC’s “40 Under 40,” honoring emerging filmmakers making a significant impact in documentary film. He earned his Master of Fine Arts in Documentary Film and Video from Stanford University in 2016, where he developed his foundation in storytelling and filmmaking.
