概要
Part 1 of a two part series involving the creation of Las Vegas and the Flamingo hotel. Las Vegas began not on the deserts of Nevada, but the poverty rich areas of New York. This is the story of three young men, the children of immigrants who are linked in their belief that crime does pay. You will hear the desperate journey of immigrants reaching the United States in the early 1900's. Their hardships, passing through immigration on Ellis Island, and reality of the inmpoverished neighborhood of New York. How the old world superstitions and beliefs of old mafia dons/mob bosses clashed with the Americanized generation. The fall of the old guard and the rise of the new order of crime with a new hierarchy and rulebook. How a law meant to curtail crime actually encouraged it, the mentor to criminals who fixed America's pastime. This is crime n Fiction, beyond a Whodunnit to a whatifdunnit.
