Krista’s guest, Maggie Doyne, has crammed a lot into her 36 years. In addition to co-founding the BlinkNow Foundation and caring for numerous children in the Kopila Valley Children’s Home she set up in Nepal, Maggie has become a mother to two biological children and written a book, Between the Mountain and the Sky, about her experiences.
Despite her many achievements, Maggie’s journey has not always been easy. She has encountered heartache and despair along the way, and in this episode, she talks candidly about the challenges and joys of her mission to improve the lives of children living in poverty in Nepal.
