Eight people were murdered on a seine boat and a former crewmember was eventually brought to trial not once but twice for the crime. The first trial riveted Alaskans for six months before ending in a hung jury. Two years later, he was retried and acquitted. Two decades later, the murders on the seiner Investor remain unsolved.
