--- 🏃♂️ EPISODE OVERVIEW ---
In Episode 146 of the Local Runners Podcast, we sit down with a member of Hyde Striders who has been smashing PBs and club records this year. Josh has PBs of 5k 16:11, 10k 34:04, Half Marathon 1:18:57, Marathon 2:48:49. Josh tells us about starting out at Stockport Harriers and how his coach build the foundation of his running form. With Josh's demanding job as a bin man, he racks up 8-10mile days which adds to his training, he gives us an insight to how he manages that as well as how he ran Manchester Marathon with just 3 days of running. This year, Josh has brought his 5k times down from 16:48 at Mid Cheshire in Spring, 16:30 at Sale Sizzler, and finally 16:11 at Mid Cheshire in the Summer, whats his secret? Now being coached by Jonny Mellor, he talks about his training and his support network.
