概要
Basic Bible Study | 2 Peter & Hebrews In today's podcast, join Chris and Robyn as they continue their discussion. Here is a breakdown of what was discussed: - Chris & Robyn have a little chit-chat - recap of last episode - 1 Peter was written to help teach about persecution (trials from without); 2 Peter teaches about handling heresy (trials from within) - we must grow in our knowledge of God & Jesus to enjoy the privileges that God offers freely - God has given us everything we need to live a Godly life - the Bible is God's words given through people, to people - the Lord wants everyone to repent - angels are God's messengers, spiritual beings created by God under His authority - accept the gift of salvation by faith, trusting entirely in Jesus for salvation - if God asks you to do something, He will give you the necessary strength to carry out that task - what to read for next time “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ABOUT Opening a Bible for the first time can be intimidating.
