概要
Basic Bible Study | Philippians & 1 Timothy In today's podcast, join Amy and Robyn as they continue their discussion. Here is a breakdown of what was discussed: - Amy is back - recap of last podcast - joy is a dominant theme in Philippians - Paul's prayer for the Philippians was that they would be unified in love - look for ways to demonstrate your faith even in bad situations - Jesus showed us everything about God's character that can be conveyed in human terms - God wants to come alongside us & be within us to help - the secret to a changed life is to submit to God's control & let Him work - God values the attitude of our heart above all else - Paul's attitude teaches an important lesson: our inner attitudes do not have to reflect our outward circumstances - let God's peace guide your heart against anxiety - God will supply all your needs, but in a way he knows is best for you - Paul sent Timothy to serve the church in Ephesus - no matter how shameful y our past, God also can forgive & use you - "deacon" means one who serves - regardless of your age, God can use you - what to read for next time “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ABOUT Opening a Bible for the first time can be intimidating.
