You would NEVER let someone talk to a woman you love the way you talk to yourself.
So why are we letting her run the show?!
Matriarch, listen up.
You do not have to shame yourself into growth. You do not have to criticize yourself into consistency. And you certainly don't have to bully yourself into becoming the woman God created you to be.
Galatians 5:25 reminds us to keep in step with the Spirit.
And His fruit? Love. Joy. Peace. Patience. KINDNESS. GENTLENESS.
Not shame. Not condemnation. Not constant criticism.
Grace is not the opposite of growth. Grace is the beautiful place from which we get to grow. 🌷
