What does it really mean to master yourself?
In this short episode of The Life Dojo Podcast, Michael explains the philosophy behind The Life Dojo, the inspiration for its name and the deeper meaning of its distinctive tiger and samurai logo.
Inspired by the teachings of Bruce Lee, martial arts and the Japanese philosophy of Kaizen, Michael explores the relationship between our primal nature and our higher self.
The tiger represents our instinctive, primal side, while the samurai symbolises discipline, the warrior mindset, living by a code and the continuous pursuit of self-improvement.
Together, they represent the foundations of The Life Dojo: learning to understand ourselves, developing greater self-mastery and striving to improve mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Life is our dojo. Every experience is an opportunity to learn, grow and become better.
This clip is taken from the full-length episode You’re Trapped in a Version of Yourself (Here’s the Truth). Listen to the complete episode for the wider conversation on identity, personal development and breaking free from limiting patterns.
