I finally stopped thinking about starting a podcast and actually hit record.

Welcome to the first episode of This Week In My Headphones - a show about my love of podcasts, the conversations that stick with me, the rabbit holes they send me down, and the completely unexpected connections I find along the way.

This week took me everywhere: Seth Godin and Mel Robbins got me thinking about getting out of my own way and finally starting this show; Bad Friends and Kill Tony kept me laughing; Tim Dillon, Fei-Fei Li and Mike Rowe somehow collided into a much bigger conversation in my head about AI, humanity, work, and the future my kids are growing up in; and Tucker Carlson sent me down a political rabbit hole that led to Ben Shapiro , Bill Maher... and somehow Mike Rowe again.

I also listened to Hunter Biden in a long-form conversation that wasn't quite what I expected.

I'm not here to review podcasts or summarize three-hour conversations. I'm here to talk about where all those conversations took me.
