In Episode 1 of "For Love of the Game", Host Brandon Dunigan met with Breaux Bridge, LA native Michael "Mike" Courville. Coach Courville is the Head Football Coach at his alma mater, Teurlings Catholic High School (https://teurlingscatholichighschool-l...) in Lafayette, Louisiana. In this interview we recap Coach Courville's stellar 2025 rookie season where he guided the Rebels to a perfect 10-0 undefeated regular season and LHSAA Division I Select Quarterfinals appearance. Coach Courville's dominant debut earned him the honors of being named The Acadiana Advocate’s All-Metro Large School Coach of the Year. We talk Family, Faith, Football, and pay homage to the community, mentors, and loved ones who support the Next Step- the push for a state title in the Louisiana Superdome on Poydras Street.
