God didn’t save you merely so you could survive another week. You were created for a purpose - and your life is supposed to produce something.
In this episode of the Sharpening Men Breakfast Podcast, Tom challenges men to take an honest look at the fruit their lives are producing. Are you becoming more dependable, honest, disciplined, generous, and useful to the people around you? Is God’s grace changing the way you live when nobody is watching?
Using Ephesians 2:10, we look at what it means to be God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works. We aren’t saved because of our good works, but genuine grace should produce change in the way we live, work, serve, forgive, give, speak, and take responsibility.
You don’t need a title, a platform, or a perfect past to make a difference. You can encourage someone, keep your word, help a man who is struggling, become a better father, make amends, mentor someone younger, or be the first man in your family to break a destructive cycle.
Today’s challenge: Do one good thing deliberately that you would not have otherwise done - and don’t look for recognition. Just do it because you’re learning to walk in the good works God has placed in front of you.
