What is Hell? Is Hell a real place? Why did God create Hell, and what happens to those who reject Jesus Christ?

Many people picture Hell as a place where Satan rules over the lost. But what does the Bible actually teach?

• Why Hell was prepared for the devil and his angels.
• What Scripture teaches about God’s judgment.
• Why God calls humanity to repentance.
• How salvation through Jesus Christ provides the only way to escape eternal condemnation.

Jesus warned about the reality of eternal judgment, but He also came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10).

In Matthew 25:41, Jesus speaks of everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels. In 2 Peter 3:9, Scripture declares that God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

This conversation is not about Hollywood theatrics or personal opinions concerning eternity. God’s Holy Word has the final say in all matters of faith and doctrine. Our purpose is to open the Scriptures together and examine what God’s Word actually says about Hell, eternal judgment, and the hope of salvation through Jesus Christ.

If Hell is real, then the Gospel is urgent.
