We’re three episodes in. Technically two, because Episode 1 went straight in the trash, and Episode 2 came with an audio saga we’d rather not relive. So are we finally finding our flow? Maybe. Unfortunately, our flow appears to be starting with dry shampoo and somehow ending at Costco.

This week on We’re Not Crazy… Right?, we cover the important things: whether hairspray can double as setting spray, why husbands cannot be trusted to drive while mascara is being applied, the logistical nightmare of wearing a romper in a public bathroom, and why there is no such thing as a quick trip to Costco.

Somewhere in between, we accidentally get a little deeper. Kids growing up, the weird mix of independence and sentimentality that comes with parenting, trying to eat like responsible adults without making food a full-time job, working with friends, and how one random smell can transport you straight back to your grandmother’s house.

Erica is also preparing for a girls’ trip involving a concerning amount of copperhead discussion, Jenn may or may not be attending in two-dimensional form, and neither of us has figured out why we’re like this.

Actually… we may have just figured out the podcast.
