Janine’s trip to Kauai should have been paradise. Instead, she woke up dizzy, disoriented, unable to walk straight, and struggling to form sentences. She fell repeatedly, wandered dangerously close to a cliff, and spent the week wondering whether stress, illness, or something even more serious was taking over her body.

Back home, she learned that changes in estrogen and hormone replacement therapy may have affected her Lamictal level, contributing to severe brain fog, balance problems, and confusion. Meanwhile, Isadora was still searching for answers after her own frightening health crisis, an unexpected UTI, emergency-room visits, and the lingering fear that her symptoms could return without warning.

Together, Janine and Isadora talk about women’s health, medication interactions, HRT, medical gaslighting, emergency-room anxiety, and what happens when no one seems to be in charge of your healthcare. They also revisit Isadora’s year-long struggle to find a doctor who finally took her pain seriously — and the stylish surgeon who told her, “I know how to sew, girl.”
