A key way we reduce costs for customers is by turning to stored energy in batteries to reduce the amount of energy needed from the grid during peak energy use times. This means customers can still use their air conditioners during a heatwave while overall energy use on the grid is going down. And knowing when a peak will happen is big part of making this work.
