Hello sports fans and welcome back to another week and episode of Trudge Report. Thank you for being with us and thank you for your support. This week the dynamic duo of Greg and Shawn have the run of the place. Corey is cow tipping somewhere and Dan is dealing with some family stuff so special shout out and prayers to him and his family. The two of us go around the horn, giving some quick life updates, and Labor Day plans. Greg keeps us apprised of his still far away but coming up fast wedding next summer. We have a little MLB discussion as we approach the last month of the regular season before the playoffs.
In the recovery segment we bring back the mini deep dive into different recovery programs. This week we delve into Refuge Recovery. This was the first and main offshoot of the Buddhist style recovery that we covered a few weeks ago. Refuge Recovery is a mindfulness-based addiction recovery program founded by Buddhist teacher and author Noah Levine. It serves as a non-theistic alternative to traditional 12-step programs. The history of it is packed with success, controversy, legal implications, and more. Enjoy.
