Join Alison as she chats to Kate Cooper, Public Health Officer for Suicide Prevention, Self-Harm and Mental Health and David Bruce, Lead Community Connector for Lindsey and Boston, and one of the founders of Bro Pro UK. Kate has recently completed a mammoth challenge to raise money for Bro Pro UK– which provides a safe space for men to meet, socialise and talk, in places all over Lincolnshire. David is one of the founders this fantastic charity and he tells us why it was set up, what it provides to those who attend and some success stories from people who initially struggled to walk through the door and who are now volunteering. David talks about the importance of conversations, the value in giving people choice over what they do and where they do it, and the fantastic communities that have been built just by bringing people together.
