芥川龍之介の生涯をたどりながら、彼の作品の魅力についてお話しします。

今回は、出生から大学時代、そして初恋にまつわるエピソードまでを取り上げます。

This is Part 1 of the second installment in Kazu’s “Forgotten Bestsellers” series.

Akutagawa Ryunosuke is one of the leading writers of Japanese literature.

His works, including “Rashomon,” are still featured in school textbooks and continue to be read by many people today.

In his later years, he also left behind many works that vividly reflected his own psychological struggles.

In this series, we trace Akutagawa Ryunosuke’s life while exploring the appeal of his works.

This episode traces his life from birth into his university years, including the story of his first love and its unfortunate ending.
