In the inaugural episode of the podcast “I’d Watch That,” hosts Dawn Kalani Cowle and Nick Carrillo pitch a new take on the Jurassic Park franchise: a hard R-rated horror movie focused on mercenaries and scientists rather than shoehorned children.
Nick critiques later Jurassic entries (especially the forced family subplot) and cites the darker tone of Michael Crichton’s novel as inspiration for brutal, tense set pieces and gory dinosaur deaths.
