It is amazing to realise that, just as it was not good for Adam to be alone but he needed Eve as his counterpart, so it is not good for God to be alone - He needs the church as His counterpart! Wow! God is eternally perfect, but He is not complete without His counterpart, the church as His bride. Lord Jesus, we love You! We give ourselves to You! Make us part of Your counterpart, Your bride, to match You in every possible way! Hallelujah for the church as the counterpart of Christ!

How we love the Lord Jesus, our dear Bridegroom! He loved us so much that He came and died for us on the cross, and now He constrains us with His love that we love Him and also love the brothers! We love the Lord not because we're better than others but because He showed us mercy and poured Himself out as love into our hearts. The very life we believers have received, the divine life, is a life of love, and when we exercise our spirit of love, we love the Lord and love all men! Lord Jesus, we love You!
