After running a community poll on our YOUTUBE channel, Freddie and Gareth are excited to watch and talk about "Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru," or as we like to call it, "Run With The Wind." This awesome sports anime follows two young men, Kiyose Haiji (Haiji) and Kakeru Kurahara (Kurahara), who run for very different reasons and meet by chance during a funny chase from a store employee after a discount!

"Run With The Wind" is more than just a sports show. It beautifully explores the lives and experiences of all 10 housemates who come together to form the Kansei University Hakone Ekiden running team.

Freddie and Gareth return to their anime review and conversations and we visit the dystopian future of Cyberpunk Edgerunners. This anime take on the grim future ran by megacorps and choppy street talk is a glorious product from Studio Trigger.

This story follows the rollercoaster life of being an Edgerunner, which is a futuristic ganger in the setting of NIght City. Growing up is hard for David, living in the slums in a hand to mouth existence whilst he is pushed to try and get a good education to work at a megacorp, like Arasaka.
Night City is a mess of corporate greed, street level ultra violence with a dog eat dog mentality. Studio Trigger lean heavily into the neon cyberpunk aethestic and seem to have fun providing a world for David Martinez to run riot in or from.

Neon Genesis Evangelion asks a lot of questions of it's audience and their ability to keep up with the themes thrown at them but now we throw a question back! Who Shot Ryoji Kaji? This beloved spy for both NERV and SEELE comes to a sticky end but who pulled the trigger? Could it be Miss Misato? His former girlfriend? Could it be a NERV agent who has seen through his ploy? Perhaps even jealousy may have lead to Mr .Kaji's demise?

Freddie and Gareth highlight some possible candidates for this mystery that has Neon Genesis Evangelion fans arguing to this day. Sure Hideaki Anno said he was bumped off by some nameless scrub but where is the fun in that? Let's stir the debate with this video of "whodunnit" as we look at some fan theories, and our own.

In the shadow of her defeat we are introduced to the works of SEELE, their relationship and history with Shinji Ikari's Father, Gendo and the formation and actions of NERV.
We meet Kaworu, the enigmatic 5th Child who takes charge of Asuka's EVA 02 unit. Who is he? Why can he pilot someone else's unit? Why is he kinda cool?
