What do we do when the route we planned is no longer possible?
In this episode of Wanderlust: Awakening the Explorer, I follow Ernest Shackleton and the Endurance expedition—a journey that became a struggle for survival when their ship was trapped and crushed by Antarctic ice.
Through uncertainty, changing plans, and the determination to bring everyone home, we explore resilience: adapting our route while staying connected to what matters most.
In my Explorer’s Journal, I reflect on my own changing path toward game and level design, and how taking a different route can still move us toward our purpose.
I’ll also leave you with a quest to practice resilience in your everyday life. When your original plan falls apart, what other path could you take?
