Through faithful teaching of the Scriptures, Encounter the Truth seeks to facilitate encounters with the truth of God’s Wordand ultimately, with the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Truth that came down from heaven. Our prayer is that those who do not yet know Jesus will come to a saving knowledge of the truth, that believers will be established in the truth, and that, through this, local churches will be strengthened.Copyright 2026 Encounter the Truth キリスト教 スピリチュアリティ 日次 聖職・福音主義

At the final day, worldly wealth will not help us—only “riches toward God”. We must be on our guard, and learn contentment with what we have. In this passage, Paul points to the Macedonian churches, who gave generously despite severe poverty, showing that the ability and desire to give are themselves gifts of Gods grace. Above all, Jesus sacrificial example—becoming poor so that believers might become spiritually rich—is presented as the ultimate motivation for generous giving.
