¡Hola!

Beginner A1.5 Spanish listening practice. Topic: a Mexican couple does the weekly grocery run at the supermarket, in clear, slow Mexican Spanish: making a short shopping list, grabbing a cart (el carrito), asking an employee where the milk is (¿dónde hay leche?), finding items on sale (está en oferta), asking prices (¿cuánto cuesta?), checking out at the register (la caja) and bagging the groceries. Grammar focus: hay (a1-hay): hay / ¿hay? / no hay (there is, is there?, there isn't), plus the everyday «claro» (of course). Format: Spanish-only narrator explanations, the same dialogue twice (slow, then a bit faster), three comprehension questions. Timed transcript included.
