    Hi there

This week we look at the often touchy and upsetting subject of your bullying work colleagues giving you a nickname that is intended to extend their bullying of you. Many workers experience workplace bullying that is subtle, normalised, and difficult to challenge, and one of the most overlooked forms of bullying, is being given a nickname by your colleagues that you did not choose and do not want.

In this week’s episode, we look at the impact of this bullying treatment and we look at your employer’s responsibilities to make it stop!

We’re always interested in your views, so let us know in our comments sections on our podcast sites, whether nickname bullying is happening or has happened you, and how this is being addressed by your manager.

Our FREE ‘WRITE IT DOWN’ Bullying Guide and Grievance Complaints Checklist are available here, to support you to catch your breathe. Use these guides to help you challenge unfair treatment at work. The links are also in the show notes below.

  • #311: Want To Lose Your Job Fast? He Had Four Full Time Jobs At The Same Time And Went To Jail!

    Hi there

In last week’s podcast episode we talked about polygamous working.

This week’s episode is about those real UK cases and workers who held multiple full-time jobs at the same time, without telling their employers, how long they did it, how much they earned (or tried to earn), and the costly consequences that followed.

Some workers have taken on freelance gigs or legitimate second jobs. However, other workers stepped over a line that many didn’t even realise existed - and ended up not just losing their job, but facing criminal charges and suspensions from the courts.

We look at those cases in this week’s episode.

We’re always interested in your views, so let us know in our comments sections on our podcast sites, whether polygamous working is a thing for you, and how you are making it work.

Our FREE ‘WRITE IT DOWN’ Bullying Guide and Grievance Complaints Checklist are available here. Use these guides to help you challenge unfair treatment at work. The links are also in the show notes below.

  • #309: When Your Employer Classifies You As Self Employed So You Don’t Get The Same Pay As Your Colleagues: There’s An Employment Tribunal For That!
    2026/02/05

Leave comments and questions here. If you would like a response, use our email: enquiries@employmentrightsonline.com

    Hi there

So… another week … another set of workers who are challenging their employer about their employment status. And, this week, we look at why dozens of NHS delivery drivers are challenging their Royal Mail employer because they say their employer has categorised them as self employed, when everything about their jobs, says they are workers.

The issue at stake here, is the difference between receiving a guaranteed national minimum wage after deductions – and, being expected to cover all your costs as a self-employed driver, working alongside other Royal Mail drivers who are given a fairer status for their jobs.

  • #308: Sabotaging My Work Is Bullying. Let’s Call It What It Is!
    2026/01/29

Leave comments and questions here. If you would like a response, use our email: enquiries@employmentrightsonline.com

    Hi there,

In this week’s episode, we look at a form of bullying which up to 14million of you are suffering from in the UK, as we speak. That form of bullying is called Sabotage Bullying.

Sabotage bullying behaviour is some of the most damaging bullying at work because it is quieter and harder to spot, so we take you through what this type of bullying might look like, and what sabotage bullies are likely to do to undermine you at work.

In this episode, we reference the following podcast episodes:

    · Episodes 277, 278 and 287 reference constructive dismissal

    · Episodes 26 and 57, which references the Equality Act 2010

    · Episode 266 which refers to a ‘Breach of the Implied Trust And Confidence Term’, and

    · Episode 302, which is one of many episodes that reference unfair dismissal employment rights.

If you are looking for specific episodes, use the search tool where you are listening, to find the episodes you are looking for.

  • #307: When Management Feedback Turns Into Bullying: Understanding The Impact of Constant Criticism at Work!
    2026/01/22

Leave comments and questions here. If you would like a response, use our email: enquiries@employmentrightsonline.com

    Hi there

In this week’s episode, we’re looking at the impact of constant criticism at work and why this is a form of bullying, rather than you just having an over-zealous boss. We also talk about how you can tell the difference between genuine feedback, which should assist you and help you grow, as opposed to bullying feedback, which is intended to attack you and cause you harm.

The nature of a bully at work, is to make you feel so ill and powerless – you hide the bullying and try to manage the impact of the bullying experience on you for a number of reasons. What the bully does not expect, is for you to take steps to challenge their bullying behaviour.

There is a FREE ‘WRITE IT DOWN’ Bullying Guide with this week’s podcast. The link is in the show notes below.

    Hi there,

In the first of our bullying episodes for 2026, we tackle the issue of what workplace bullying really is, what it can look like, how it feels, and what you can do if you think it’s happening to you.

In this week’s episode, we therefore look at one step you can take, which is to write down what is happening to you.
