Season 10 Episode 13: 2000 Trees Festival review (Feat. Anthony Green, I Am The Avalanche, Arcane Roots and more)

Matt and James went to 2000 Trees and…SPOILER ALERT…had a wonderful time.

Join us as we discuss our thoughts on the festival, from the perspective of going with mates and also going with a child! We chat about all the amazing bands we saw, including the likes of I Am The Avalanche, Carsick, Arcane Roots, Thistle, Free Throw, Glassjaw, Anthony Green, Higher Power and many many more, including some bands who were new to us and got us excited.

Of course we talk about various LOGISTICS and boring stuff which we like to obsess over, like the layout of the festival, how many water taps there were and the fact they don’t play music over the speakers between bands… controversial move or power play? These things need to be discussed at length and no other podcast will do it!

Matt and James are off to 2000 Trees and this is our preview!

We are super excited to get stuck into this wonderful festival, which we are ashamed to say that we have never attended before, but always looked on from afar with jealousy and admiration.

We talk you through the unbelievable bill, researching some of the smaller bands rather than focusing purely on the bands we all know. James picks out his favourite funny band names and Matt starts stressing about logistics (no surprise!).

Then we get totally distracted by the food van offering!
